Rod Ward has also ben practicing injury law for over 24years. He is a Lifetime Member of the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association and has served on the MTLA Board of Governors as well as chairing committees for MTLA. Rod has spoken to Mississippi lawyers in the area of workers compensation bad faith and been published in the leading trial lawyer magazine on that issue. His case, Rogers v. Hartford, is widely considered the leading appellate decision in the state on workers comp bad faith.

In 2007, Rod was named one of the Top 500 Trial Lawyers in America by LAWDRAGON. He is also a member
of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and has received the MTLA Stone Pony award for outstanding service as a
member. Rod has also held positions with the Mississippi State Bar and the Hinds County Bar Association.

Rod is married to Shawn Ward and they have three children. Rod coaches the Stevens & Ward soccer and baseball teams, both of which have had great success. He also plays golf and hunts.
